Here are some food which can increase bone strength..!!

As we grow up our body gets tender and weakens. Our bones started to get fractures and breakage. We all know that our body is made up of 206 bones.


Our bones provide us the strength and support to maintain our body. This is the reason we must maintain the health of our bones like any other part of our body. Our bones are made up of calcium and collagen, that's why any kind of problem-related to calcium can lead to osteoporosis which is a bad bone condition. The risk of osteoporosis can become in case of smoking, alcohol consumption and unbalanced lifestyle. 


To prevent osteoporosis we must maintain a diet rich in calcium and vitamin D, calcium enriched foods help to maintain the good health of our bones.


Here are some foods which help to increase the bone strength:-

Milk:- Milk is the rich source of calcium which is necessary for the strengthening of bones. Milk provide us approx 30% of the daily dose of calcium. Milk is fortified with vitamin D which is useful in maintaining the bone strength and it also helps in the absorption of calcium from the food.




Cheese:- It is also rich in calcium,consuming it is beneficial for the health of the bones. However cheese can give us a weight gain but still it is a good source of calcium and we can not deny that. 




Yogurt:-  Yogurt is also a best source of calcium after milk and cheese. It is also enriched with vitamin D which provide strength to our bones.




Salmon:-  It contains a rich amount of calcium along with omega 3 and fatty acid. About 3 ounces of salmon contains 181 grams of calcium which is good for our bones and heart too.




Sardines:-  It is yet an another source of food which helps to strengthen the bones. It contains high amount of calcium, omega3 and fatty acids.
